Consultation has concluded

Update: County Council approved on June 22, 2021 changes to the planning application and review process.

Among the most significant changes include:

  • Circulating applications to the appropriate advisory committee
  • Expanding the notice radius for hamlets and rural areas to 500 metres from 120 metres
  • Eliminating public information reports in favour of pubic information centres
  • Implementation of a consent agenda so that Planning Committee and/or Council can quickly deal with items

    that are non-confrontational, uncontested and do not require any discussion
