    The County of Prince Edward continues to take significant steps to limit the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Accordingly, we are making efforts to protect the health and safety of the public, Council, and employees, while also delivering essential services, including processing Planning Act applications.

    Therefore, in accordance with the requirements for giving notice under Section 34 and Section 53 of the Planning Act and related regulations, Planning Committee will meet its requirements for holding a public meeting. As physical public attendance is not permitted at this time, we invite the public to participate virtually or make written comments submitted to the Secretary-Treasurer Pam Thompson (pthompson@pecounty.on.ca) prior to the meeting.     The subject lands are currently designated as Hamlet and Environmental Protection on Schedule E Land Use Designations in the County’s Official Plan. Through Official Plan Amendment File No. OPA3-2020 the applicant proposes to re-designate the lands to allow the creation of one new lot and retained lands with access on a private lane (McKenzie Lane).

    Through Consent File B42-20, the owner proposes to sever 1.08 ha of land with 61.4 m frontage onto McKenzie Lane. The proposed retained parcel is 1.13 ha with 77.4 m of frontage onto McKenzie Lane.

    The subject lands are currently zoned Limited Service Residential (LSR) Zone and Environmental Protection (EP) Zone.     Through Consent File B52-20, the owner proposes to sever 4.17 ha of land with 60.2m frontage onto Loyalist Parkway. Through Consent File B53-20, the owner proposes to sever 0.8 ha of land with 61m frontage onto Loyalist Parkway. The proposed retained parcel is 0.94 ha with 72.6m of frontage onto Loyalist Parkway.

    The purpose and effect of the application is to approve a Zoning By-law Amendment associated with the Draft Plan of Subdivision application 13T-18-502 and Draft Plan of Condominium application 13T-19-503 submitted by 1974692 Ontario Ltd. The lands are described as Part Lots 1025, 1030, 1032, 1076 & 1514, All of Lots 1026, 1028, 1031, 1077, & 1513, Part of Road Allowance Between Lot 1032 & Lots 1030 & 1031, Registered plan 24, Ward of Picton.
