    County Planning Committee will host on Wednesday, August 12 a teleconference session open to the public in order to hear opinions and comments pertaining to several Planning Act applications.

    The session will address the public meeting requirements under the Planning Act.

    The public can submit written comments to the Secretary-Treasurer Pam Thompson prior to the meeting. Members of the public who wish to speak at the public session will need to use the web application Zoom. To do so, please register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, August 10. Registrants will be emailed a unique link and directions for participating in the session via Zoom meeting.

    The Council meeting will begin at 7 pm. A live stream of the meeting will be available on the County website.

Through the approval of Zoning File No. Z40-20, the proposed severed lots will be rezoned to Rural Residential 2 (RR2) Zone to reflect the resulting lot size and use. The retained lands will be rezoned to the Special Rural 2 (RU2-XX) Zone to reflect lot frontage. All Environmental Protection (EP) Zones will remain.

    Purpose and Effect of the Application: Sever and rezone lands owned by Laurie McGugan to create a lot addition with the adjacent property at 77 Moores Lane.

    Description of the Application: Through Consent File No. B50-20, the owner proposes a lot addition to benefit the lands located at 77 Moore Lane. The proposed severed is 0.13 hectares with no frontage onto a public road and approximately 13.4 m of frontage onto Moore Lane Private Right of Way. The benefitting lands are 0.56 hectares with no frontage onto a public road and approximately 0.3 metres of frontage onto Moore Lane Private Right of Way. The proposed retained lands are 1.27 hectares in size with 79.4 metres of frontage onto Salmon Point Road.

    The subject lands are currently in the Rural Residential 2 (RR2) Zone. Through the approval of Zoning File No. Z41-20, the proposed severed and benefiting parcel will be rezoned to Special Limited Service Residential (LSR-XX) Zone, to recognize the existing setbacks. The retained lands will be rezoned Special Rural Residential 2 (RR2-xx) Zone to recognize the existing interior side yard.
