The municipality will engage the community throughout the review process. Engagement activities will include a public open house workshop, a statutory public open house, and a statutory public meeting under the Planning Act. Updates will be provided below and draft documents posted for review as they become available.

Phase 2 Draft Plan Presentation and Refinement
this is an upcoming stage for Wellington Secondary Plan Review and Update
April 2024 - June 2024
County staff will release a draft of the updated Wellington Secondary Plan. An open house will be held to gather feedback from the public. Staff will evaluate the public input as they revise the draft plan.
Phase 3 Finalize the Updated Secondary Plan
this is an upcoming stage for Wellington Secondary Plan Review and Update
June 2024 - September 2024
Staff will present the updated plan at a public meeting in the second quarter of 2024. Following that meeting, staff will finalize the plan and present it to Council during the third quarter of 2024.
