Consultation for this project has concluded. The report on implementing the by-law and policy review will go to Council for for its consideration in January 2021.
The municipality is completing the first comprehensive review of County by-laws and policies since amalgamation in 1998. The Clerk’s Office is leading the review with the assistance of the consulting firm Diverse Systems Group.
The municipality is interested in finding efficiencies and ensuring regulation in a manner that is a good fit for Prince Edward County's size, capacity and social/economic character.
