Community Conversations for Seniors

We want to hear from you!

We are the New Horizons for Seniors Group, a team of local seniors working with municipal staff to make sure senior voices help influence the direction of our Community Safety and Well-being Plan (CSWB).

You're invited to participate in our community conversations for seniors - in person or online through the survey below.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Share what matters to you about safety and well-being in Prince Edward County.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities for enhancing services for seniors.
  • Provide recommendations for the next Community Safety and Well-being Plan.

    • Ameliasburgh Town Hall (13 Coleman Street) – Friday, March 21 - 11AM - 1:30PM

  • An informal conversation with other seniors about safety and well-being concerns and opportunities in the County
  • A FREE lunch; and,
  • As a thank you for attending, you’ll be entered into a draw to win 1 of 3 gift baskets filled with local goods!

  • Please take a moment to answer a few questions about your experiences and ideas for seniors safety and well-being in Prince Edward County. At the end of the survey, you have the opportunity to provide your email address so we can send you a copy of the final recommendations from the New Horizons for Seniors Group. Paper copies of this survey are also available at the Prince Edward County libraries and Shire Hall.
