How do you chose the sidewalk locations?
A sidewalk study was conducted in 2014 rating the sidewalks in the County as 'very poor', 'poor', 'fair', 'good' and 'very good'. As there are a large number of sidewalk locations in 'very poor' condition, sidewalk locations are typically done in order of priority. We depend on input from the Operations Department and members of the public to assist in determining priority locations.
Can you determine how many pedestrians use the sidewalks?
At this time, we do not have the ability to count the number of pedestrians using the sidewalks. We depend on our staff, public input and now Have Your Say to help determine priority locations.
