In 2025, Council directed staff to develop a Youth Engagement Strategy to strengthen how young people interact with local government and share their ideas, experiences, and challenges. This work is underway in collaboration with key partners, including Prince Edward Learning Centre, Greater Than Youth Collective, the Students Commission of Canada and The ROC.

Together, we’re exploring opportunities to better understand youth needs, amplify youth voices, and increase feelings of belonging within the community.

  • The County is attending The HUB's Family Resource Fair on March 29, 2026. Information collected from families and youth will help inform the youth engagement strategy.
